Recently we got to see that a Hollywood film The Jungle Book became a Blockbuster in India and within a few days it made Rs. 145Crores (& still counting). Also the film did more business than India's biggest hero Shahrukh Khan.
Now, it looks like upcoming American superhero film X-Men : Apocalypse is also eyeing the Indian market. Probably for the first time in history an American film will be released in India a week before it releases in US.
Makers have announced the film is set to release on 20th May in India.
However there is no big release till June 3rd but X-Men might face a competition with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Randeep Hooda starrer Sarabjit.
Directed by Bryan Singer, with a screenplay by Simon Kinberg from a story conceived by Singer, Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, the film features an ensemble cast starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn and Lucas Till.
