South Movies have good concepts, engaging storylines and are full pack of action, romance and drama! Previously the makers used to release south movies in their own regions but now, they are spreading the talent all over India. Recently we got to see big south releases like Baahubali, Puli, Raudramadevi & Ek Yodha Shoorveer.
However not every movie did the same business but SS Rajmouli's Baahubali set the fire on box office! It was released a week before Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan and broke every record at box office even some multiplex owners said no to share their screens for BB.
Now, the situation is same! Pawan Kalyan starrer Sardaar Gabbar Singh is a big release (being released by Eros International in north India) and the same is about to release a week before SRK starrer Fan. Yes we all know ShahRukh Khan's films are magical and he has a huge fan base but still if we talk about Kalyan's filmdom than maybe it is possible that film will effect business of Fan?
Pawan Kalyan has a huge fan base and his film Attarintiki Daredi grossed nearly Rs. 1.3—1.87 billion, and emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time until it was surpassed by Baahubali: The Beginning (2015).
Sardaar Gabbar Singh is sequel to 2012 Telugu film Gabbar which was actually remake of Salman Khan's Dabangg and now Kalyan is back with new original script and big bang! Kalyan is playing main role while Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead and Sharad Kelkar plays the antagonist, marking his Telugu debut. Devi Sri Prasad composed the score and Arthur A. Wilson was its cinematographer. Film is releasing on April 8th 2016.
Now only time will say if Sardaar Gabbar Singh will do something like Baahubali or will remain same as Puli, Rudramadevi & other south dubbed films. What do you think? Comment down!
