Taapsee Pannu who has worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi film industries, made her Bollywood debut with Chashme Baddoor in 2013 opposite Ali Zafar, and was recently seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Baby.
And now, the big news is that she will be next seen in Shoojit Sircar's untitled project which also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Shoojit Sircar announced that he found a script so compelling that we wanted to make a movie. He was more than happy when Amitabh Bachchan too approved of it and decided to star in it. And now yet another name has been added to the star cast - Taapsee Pannu.
According to sources, Taapsee will be playing an important role in the film. She will play the character of an independent woman who hails from Delhi. However, it is being said that the actress is yet to read the whole script.
The film, which is yet to be titled, revolves around a social cause and will be entirely shot in Delhi. It also marks the debut of National Award winning Bengali filmmaker Anirudha Roy Chowdhury.
