Queen Kangana Ranaut to play 85 year old woman in Shekhar Kapoor's next

The ‘Queen’ of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut, who is known to pick up highly challenging roles, has yet again chosen to play a highly demanding role in her next venture. According to the latest report, Kangana will play a 85-year-old woman in Shekhar Kapoor’s next flick. The ‘Katti Batti’ actress confirmed about the same.

"I have been offered to play an 85-year-old woman in a film by Shekhar Kapur. We are in talks for it. We are still working out things. It is a challenging role," said Kangana.

Shekhar is presently working on Paani and Kangana, 28, clarified this is not the film that she has been offered. “I am looking forward to play older roles. I don’t understand why people look down upon older roles. I saw a film Amour about old people... That film changed my view about them,” Kangana said.

Shekhar Kapur highly praised Kangana Ranaut’s performance in ‘Queen’. ‘Queen has a fresh golden heart, at the centre of which lies a fluid consistent n convincing performance by Kangana Raut,’ Shekhar had tweeted.

Well, Shekhar Kapur is currently busy with ‘Paani’ starring Aditya Roy Kapoor while and Kangana Ranaut is working on Vishal Bhardwaj's ‘Rangoon’, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
